Socialization of the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik), Statistical Literacy Development for Villages, and Identification of Village Data Needs for 2025

#SahabatData, in December 2024, BPS-Statistics Kapuas Regency is conducting the Socialization of the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik), Statistical Literacy Development for Villages, and Identification of Village Data Needs for 2025. This activity is an annual agenda initiated by the BPS-Statistics (BPS) with the goal of improving statistical literacy and identifying data needs at the village level. Desa Cantik program aims to encourage statistical agents and village officials to better understand various aspects of statistics, from data collection and presentation to its utilization in supporting development programs. This program also supports the implementation of the One Data Indonesia principle, data processing and analysis, as well as data quality management. In 2025, BPS-Statistics Kapuas Regency will support 14 villages, namely 12 villages in the Pulau Petak District and 2 villages in the Selat District.

To prepare for the implementation of Desa Cantik, on December 17, 2024, BPS-Statistics Kapuas Regency held the Socialization of the Desa Cinta Statistik (Desa Cantik), Statistical Literacy Development for Villages, and Identification of Village Data Needs for 2025. This event was held in person at the Kapuas Regency Bappelitbangda Hall. The event was led by Ahmad Nasrullah, SST., Head of BPS-Statistics Kapuas Regency. The speakers for the event included the Secretary of Bappelitbangda, the Head of the Statistics Department of Diskominfosantik, the Head of Pulau Petak District, and the Secretary of Selat District.

Through this socialization, it is hoped that the implementation of the Desa Cantik program in 2025 will proceed smoothly and make a significant contribution to enhancing statistical understanding and supporting the development of villages, particularly in Kapuas Regency.
