Abstract

Consumer Tendency Index Kalimantan Tengah fourth quarter of 2017 amounted to 105.59. It means consumer economic conditions in the fourth quarter of 2017 more increased than last quarter (Consumer Tendency Index value is 104.99). The level of consumer optimism in the fourth quarter 2017 is higher than the third quarter 2017.

Improved consumer economic conditions in Q4 / 2011 were mainly driven by consumption levels (index value of 110.64), inflationary effects on consumption (index value of 105.49), and current income (index value of 103.52).

Consumer Tendency Index Kalimantan Tengah in quarter I-2018 is estimated at 104.53 meaning that the consumer's economic condition is expected to increase. The level of consumer optimism is estimated to be slightly lower than the fourth quarter-2017 (value of Consumer Tendency Index of 105.59).

The expected improvement in consumer economic conditions in the coming quarter is mainly triggered by rising household incomes (index value of 109.33).
