Abstract

• People working in Kalimantan Tengah in August 2018 were 1,301.00 thousand people, an increase of 78.29 thousand compared to August 2017.

• The August 2018 Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 4.01 percent, down by 0.22 percentage points compared to August 2017.

• Absorption of labor according to categories during August 2018 was dominated by the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Category (38.37 percent), Large Trade and Retail, Car and Motorcycle Repair (17.74 percent) and Government, Defense and Social Security Required Administration ( 6.72 percent).
