Abstract

The export value of Kalimantan Tengah in January 2022 reached US$180.63 million, a decrease of 48.94 percent compared to exports in December 2021 and a decrease of 22.23 percent compared to January 2021.
  • Coal, palm oil, and zirconium ore are Central Kalimantan's main export commodities during January 2022.
  • Japan, India and South Korea are the main export destinations for Central Kalimantan during January 2022.
  • The value of Kalimantan Tengah's imports during January 2022 reached US$3.41 million, down 53.92 percent compared to December 2021 and up 212.84 percent compared to January 2021.
  • Laos, Singapore, Australia and Saudi Arabia are the origin countries of Central Kalimantan's imports during January 2022.
  • Kalimantan Tengah's foreign trade balance experienced a surplus of US$177.22 million in January 2022.
