June 2022: The frequency of air transport flights and sea transport visits during increased compared to May 2022, respectively by 15.07 percent and 16.32 percent

Abstract

The frequency of flights decreased by 10.45 percent, from 1,234 flights (May 2022) to 1,105 flights (June 2022).

The number of air transport passengers fell 15.07 percent, from 115,041 people (May 2022) to 97,709 people (June 2022).

Freight traffic using air transportation fell 15.90 percent, from 1,459 tons (May 2022) to 1,227 tons (June 2022).

The frequency of ship visits at ports in the Central Kalimantan region increased by 17.50 percent, from 617 visits (May 2022) to 725 visits (June 2022).

The number of sea transport passengers decreased by 16.32 percent, from 60,298 people (May 2022) to 50,458 people (June 2022).

Freight traffic using sea transportation decreased 5.27 percent, from 1.65 million tons (May 2022) to 1.57 million tons (June 2022).

Sea transportation passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai Port (69.50 percent), while the volume of goods flows at Sampit Port (60.63 percent).
