The percentage of poor people in March 2024 is 5.17 percent

·         The percentage of poor people in March 2024 was 5.17 percent, an increase of 0.06 percentage points compared to March 2023.

·         The number of poor people in March 2024 was 145.63 thousand people, an increase of 3.46 thousand people compared to March 2023.

·         The percentage of urban poor people in March 2024 was 4.89 percent, an increase of 0.11 percentage points compared to March 2023. For rural areas, the percentage of poor people was 5.38 percent, an increase of 0.03 percent from March 2023.

·         The number of urban poor people increased by 3.07 thousand people from 57.10 thousand people in March 2023 to 60.17 thousand people in March 2024. In the same period the number of rural poor people rose by 0.40 thousand people from 85.06 thousand people in March 2023 to 85.46 people in March 2024.

·         The Poverty Line in March 2024 was recorded at IDR 623,954,-/capita/month with the composition of the Food Poverty Line of IDR 482,856,- (77.39 percent) and the Non-Food Poverty Line of IDR 141,098,- (22.61 percent)
