Abstract

  • The paddy harvested area in 2024 is estimated to be around 110,80 thousand hectares, an increase of 9,22 thousand hectares or 9,08 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 101,58 thousand hectares.
  • Rice production in 2024 is estimated at 378,18 thousand tons of GKG, an increase of 47,40 thousand tons of GKG or 14,33 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 330,78 thousand tons of GKG.
  • Rice production in 2024 for food consumption for the population is estimated to be around 224,64 tons, an increase of 28,15 thousand tons or 14,33 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 196,49 thousand tons.
