SE2026 NGISI BARENG (NGIBAR): Collaboration Between BPS Kapuas Regency and the Kapuas Regency Education Office

As part of efforts to ensure the successful implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), the Kapuas Regency Statistics Office (BPS Kapuas) conducted a Socialization and Joint Questionnaire Completion Session (Ngibar) facilitated by the Kapuas Regency Education Office on May 25.

The event was attended by the Head of the Kapuas Education Office, H. Suwarno Muriyat, the Head of the Junior High School Development Division, Franz Yulian, along with section heads, representatives and members of the Junior High School Principals’ Working Group (MKKS), and hundreds of public and private junior high school principals from across Kapuas Regency.

A unique feature of this Ngibar session was that hundreds of public and private junior high school principals completed the questionnaire while receiving intensive, direct assistance from BPS Kapuas enumerators and supervisors. This hands-on support was highly appreciated by participants, as they were able to consult directly on questionnaire items related to the operations of educational institutions, thereby minimizing the risk of data entry errors.

The activity was conducted interactively, featuring discussion and question-and-answer sessions between participants and BPS officers regarding the implementation of the Economic Census in Kapuas Regency.

It is expected that this socialization and Ngibar activity will enhance school principals’ understanding of the importance of statistical data in supporting regional development and government policy planning.
